Armando Montoya

Armando has maintained continuous sobriety since September 2024, proudly celebrating over 1 year of recovery. After completing treatment and thriving as a resident in a structured sober living environment, he discovered the profound impact of community, accountability, and peer support—experiences that changed his life.

Motivated to give back, Armando joined the Patton Sober Living team, where he now lives on-site and provides daily guidance, enforces house structure, and offers relatable mentorship to residents navigating the challenges of early recovery. Drawing from his own journey through relapse prevention, 12-Step work, employment transitions, and building a fulfilling sober lifestyle, he is deeply committed to helping each young man develop the tools, routines, and hope needed for long-term success. Armando brings compassion, consistency, and a genuine belief that a fun, meaningful life in recovery is possible for everyone who stays the course.
