Learn More About Us

Patton Sober Living is a group of structured sober living homes in Dallas and Richardson, TX, designed to help individuals—especially young adults—transition from inpatient treatment to independent, sober living. Our program supports healing of the mind, body, and spirit through structure, accountability, and community support.

All of our staff are in recovery and passionate about helping others succeed in sobriety. We offer a highly structured environment with random drug testing, daily breathalyzing, group therapy, one-on-one counseling, job and education support, and peer-driven accountability. Our program is a calling, not just a job.

Yes. Residents are assigned to homes based on their life stage and needs. For example, we have an “emerging adults” house for younger individuals at 502 Wentworth and “young adult” homes at 521 Wentworth and 518 Goodwin. Our residence at 13028 Fall Manor is designed for those in later stages of adulthood.

Residents receive weekly individual counseling, group therapy three times a week, all meals, LA Fitness gym membership, access to yoga classes, structured daily routines, and regular contact with family. Also included are biweekly family updates and support with employment and school enrollment.

Accountability is built into our program through random drug testing, daily breathalyzing, 12-step meeting requirements, house chores, and structured weekly schedules. Staff live on-site or nearby and maintain close involvement with each resident’s progress.

Absolutely. Residents are encouraged to find employment (minimum of 25 hours/week unless enrolled in school). We provide job coaching, resume assistance, and help with interviewing. We also assist with school enrollment—Richland College is just minutes away.

Our routine includes morning meditation (Monday–Friday), working or attending school, going to the gym at least 3 times per week, preparing for and attending 12-step meetings, participating in group therapy, completing house chores, and enjoying sober social activities.

We provide services for individuals with dual diagnosis, primary mental health challenges, and process addictions such as pornography or technology dependency. Weekly individual counseling and group therapy led by licensed professionals help address these issues directly.

Bring 4–5 changes of clothes, 2–3 sets of gym gear, a business casual outfit for interviews, toiletries, a 30-day supply of prescribed medications (staff-approved), electronics, ID cards, and optional reading material. A full packing list is available on our site. Alcohol-based products, weapons, and inappropriate materials are not allowed.
