Heath Russell, Full Time Assistant Manager

Heath was raised in a family where addiction was present within the extended family system, and he encountered substance use at a young age. What began as marijuana use at 13 gradually progressed into alcohol, psychedelics, and opioids, becoming a way to cope for more than a decade.

At 26, after years of battling addiction, Heath reached a point of true surrender. With the support of his family, he entered treatment and committed fully to rebuilding his life. Today, with nearly a year of sobriety, he has embraced a lifestyle grounded in accountability, growth, and authentic living — a commitment that led him to serve as Assistant Manager at Patton Sober Living.

Heath understands firsthand the isolation, shame, and loneliness that addiction brings. Because of this, he approaches his role with empathy, patience, and steady leadership. He believes deeply that connection is the antidote to addiction and that purpose is discovered through serving others.

In his work, Heath strives to create an environment where residents feel supported, challenged, and genuinely cared for. His goal is to help each man recognize his value, rediscover direction, and build a foundation for lasting sobriety. Families can trust that Heath brings both lived experience and sincere dedication to the well-being of those in his care.
